The Wedding of Bérangère & David
There are some locations that you dream of photographing, and for me, Church Cove on the Lizard in Cornwall has always been one of them. Tucked away on the rugged Cornish coastline, this little gem feels almost untouched by time. When Bérangère and David told me it was the place they had chosen to exchange their vows, I knew it was going to be something truly special.

The couple, from France, had fallen head over heels for Cornwall, and it was easy to see why. On the morning of their wedding, a soft mist rolled in from the sea, cloaking the cove in a romantic, almost cinematic atmosphere. It couldn’t have been more perfect – moody skies, crashing waves, and a sense of wild beauty all around.
Family and friends had travelled from across the globe to be part of the celebration, bringing with them so much love and joy. The ceremony itself felt intimate and heartfelt, surrounded by the natural drama of the Cornish landscape. There was laughter, a few happy tears, and plenty of moments that felt like they belonged in a fairytale.
After the vows and some windswept portraits along the cliffs, everyone made their way to The Housel Bay Hotel on the Lizard for the reception. Overlooking the sea, it was the perfect setting to continue the celebrations – filled with warmth, good food, and the happiest of company.
For me, this wedding was not only a joy to capture but also a dream come true. Church Cove lived up to everything I had imagined and more, and to share it with such a wonderful couple as Bérangère and David made it all the more meaningful.
